V. ve světle stínu

Vylézt ze stínu do světla je něco po čem toužíme. Chceme být vidět, hřát se na slunci, prezentovat sebe, své dovednosti, vědění, zásluhy-pracně vydobyté-v profesním poli. Jsem docela šikovný kluk - graduovaný dramaterapeut, DvT practitioner, certifikovaný supervizor, mentor, Ph.D., spolu-vedu výcvik i institut, umím jíst příborem a pokecám se jen zřídka.

To stinné, kdy nám to nejde a nevíme si rady, moc veřejně neprezentujeme. Možná na supervizích. Na konferencích jen velmi zřídka. A když, obalíme to něčím chytrým. Třeba Jungem, ten má stíny rád. Nebo nějakým kouzelným slovem třeba "autenticita". Nebo se obrníme ironickým pseudo-náhledem (často přidáme i argument o věku a délce praxe), spojeným s historkou pro pobavení, aby se ukázalo, že jsme roztomilí a veselí, což je lepší než být zatraceně mimo!

Nic světlého Vám neřeknu, obrním se stínem a podělím se s Vámi o to, že bývám někdy mimo. A vy? Je konference bezpečný prostor? Nevím. Jak bezpečné je vnořit se se do králičí nory, VYPÍT TO! a SNÍST TO! a vejít do zahrady, která..

Dobře, dobře. Jsem docela šikovný dramaterapeut, ale o tom dneska vyprávět nebudu.

V. in the Light of the Shadow

Climbing out of the shadow into the light is something we crave. We want to be seen, to bask in the sun, to present ourselves, our skills, knowledge, merits - hard-won - in the professional field. I'm a pretty handy guy - a graduate Dramatherapiest, a DvT practitioner, a certified supervisor, a mentor, a Ph.D.. I co-lead a training and an Institute. I can eat with cutlery and I rarely get dirty.

The shadow parts, when we get lost, don't know what to do, we don't present it very publicly. Maybe (hopefully) in our Supervisions. But very rarely at Conferences. And when we do...we wrap it in something clever - like Jung's ideas. He liked the shadows, right? Or into some magic words like "Authenticity". Or we turn to an ironic pseudo-reflection (often adding an argument about age and length of practice), combined with a story for fun, to show that we are cute and cheerful, which is better than being damned out of the point!

I won't tell you anything about "light" parts, I guess.. I'll just shade myself and share with you that I'm sometimes out of sorts. And you? Is the Conference a safe space? I don't know. How safe is it to go down the rabbit hole, DRINK IT! and EAT IT! and enter the garden that..
